1. Introduction

A small business local to Allegheny County operates public curbside EV chargers.

They aim to provide equitable access to EV infrastructure for suburban residential communities.

The problem is that they were actually losing money due to high operating costs.

There were also some very specific dynamics in the public-private partnership and the energy supplier’s policy that led the business to consult CMU Heinz College.

2. Approach

Exploratory Data Analysis on EV Customer Behavior

The team and I utilized statistical and computational methods to provide them with a tool to preview their strategic business decisions.
